OUSTER OS1
Powered by the L3 chip and designed to offer best-in-class versatility and field of view. The OS1 delivers clean, dense data throughout its field of view for accurate perception and crisp detail in industrial, automotive, robotics, and mapping applications.
Up to 5.2 million dots per second with 128 channels

Rigorously tested for robustness and reliability that exceed industry standards.
Quality and reliability testing is a top priority for Ouster. Over the past year, our team of solar industry veterans has tested the OS1 under a wide range of conditions as part of a structured process of quality and reliability engineering design and validation.
Powered by the L3 sensor
The new L3 sensor with 21.47 Gmac of signal processing and 125 million transistors on the chip enables 5.2 million maximum points per second.
SLAM
Built-in SLAM technology, this is a mapping method that uses lidar to simultaneously locate an object and create a map of its environment.
Available configuration options
We offer the sensors in three different resolution configurations: 32, 64 and 128 vertical channels (beams) of resolution. Higher resolution allows for improved perception and detection performance at greater distances. In addition to resolution options, on our 32- and 64-channel sensors we offer beam configuration options: gradient (denser in the middle of the field of view, sparser at the top), below the horizon (all channels in the lower half of the field of view), and above the horizon (all channels in the upper half of the field of view). Finally, we offer several extended sensor warranties, cap options, and various cable types, connectors, and lengths.
Operation in adverse weather conditions.
The sensors are rated IP69K, meaning they withstand power washdowns up to 1600 psi and can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water without affecting operation. The sensors maintain visibility even in rain, snow and fog. In addition, the Lidar operates consistently in all lighting conditions, including night, sunrise, sunset and full midday sun.
Calibrated reflectivity for guaranteed visibility
even in extreme conditions.
