3D TARGET Meet our company at SIFET Conference 2023!
The SIFET (Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography) is organizing the 65th National Conference.
During this event, there will be a reflection on the use of geomatic methodologies and technologies in various application contexts, highlighting INTERDISCIPLINARY INTERSECTIONS. The discussion will focus on the evolution of geomatics, the development of methods, technologies, and tools, both nationally and internationally, as well as the professional implications.
The main conference sessions related to interdisciplinary intersections will be:
- MEASUREMENTS AND DIGITAL MODELS FOR THE ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURAL DAMAGES AND THE ENVIRONMENT

You’ll have the chance to witness the area survey using the Lidar Scanfly sensor equipped with a 360° RGB camera and a VTOL drone “Wingtra” for aerial scanning. These tools will offer additional surveying and mapping capabilities, providing a comprehensive overview of the potential of 3D Target technologies used in the field of geomatics.

During this day, you will have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations of three aerial solutions: BLK2FLY for autonomous flight testing, WINGTRA for semi-autonomous flight, and DJI M300/M350 for manual flight. 3D TARGET organizes a meeting dedicated to the LEICA RTC360 and BLK2GO laser scanners: in addition to the technical-practical presentation of these high-tech solutions, there will be a demonstration of the data obtained which allows efficient and safe interventions even on the most complex industrial plants, thanks to the use of Leica Cyclone 3DR and Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 software.

During the meeting, we will present WingtraOne and its pecuiar features, WingtraPilot the flight planning software and its payloads:

- oblique cameras.
We'll have a flight demo in the nieghbourhood and we'll comment the post-process of the data, quired with the drone.
The meeting will be held in the Italian language.

3D Target organizes, with the support of Leica Geosystems, a technical and application meeting on laser scanners, software and procedures for 3D surveys for industrial applications. The actors of the presentation will be the LEICA RTC360, BLK360G2 and BLK2GO laser scanners, small, light products with extreme ease of use, which allow time and cost optimization as well as maximizing the quality of the data obtained during the survey phase. In addition to the technical-practical presentation of these technological solutions, there will be space for a demonstration of the data obtained which allows efficient and safe interventions even in the most complex industrial plants, with savings in terms of post-processing.

3D Target, supporting the Department of Humanities and Cultural Heritage of the University of Udine, has created a case study based on an aerial photogrammetric survey, with a WingtraOne GenII drone, of two archaeological sites in the Nineveh area, Iraq. With the aim of inspecting the entire area without the need to alter the status of the site and at the same time covering large areas without the operator having to move or interrupt the mission, high-resolution elaborations were obtained with a WingtraOne GenII drone equipped with 42MP camera. WingtraOne GenII has proved to be the ideal solution for those who have to cover large surfaces, allowing them to optimize survey times and reduce travel between the different flight missions, even in remote areas.
