All Ladybug® systems include a Software Development Kit (SDK) package with numerous features for controlling camera settings, managing 360-degree image capture, and producing panoramic and video images. The Ladybug SDK includes the LadybugCapPro Windows application, source code examples for quick guidance in the C/C++/C# programming environment, technical documentation for camera integration, and a software library API (Application Programming Interface) with reference documentation. The API enables integration of Ladybug functionality into custom applications and is supported by a library of online application technical notes and published knowledge base articles.

SDK FUNCTIONALITY

Introductory manual with essential information, to configure the Ladybug camera system. LadybugCapPro Windows GUI application for camera control and processing capabilities. Windows/Linux command line applications with source code to capture and process stream data. Technical reference for camera operations and integration. Comprehensive API with reference documentation for custom application integration in C/C++/C#.

ACQUISITION AND VISUALIZATION

Management of image acquisition and data formats. Control of camera settings such as auto exposure, resolution, and frame rate. Configuring GPIO triggering or strobe settings Adjusting JPEG compression settings to suit data transmission requirements. Capturing and saving synchronized images and GPS data.

PROCESSING AND EXPORTING

Performs image processing such as demosaicing, exposure compensation, white balance, gamma, and tonal mapping. Performs renderings using panoramic, dome, or cubic maps. Retrieves intrinsic and extrinsic camera data for photogrammetry applications. Exports to a variety of file formats and compression schemes up to 16K (134 MP resampled) for images and 12K for video.
